After teaching alphabet sounds to little children... It's time for them to learn their own names (how to pronounce it, spell it, read it and write it).

Here are a few activities below that you could use to teach littles their names.

Activity One:

Write your child's name on a page and allow him/her to copy it.

Activity Two:

Cut out little cards and write each letter of your child's name on each card.

Allow your child to stick each letter like a puzzle.

Activity Three:

Missing letter name activity

Write down your child's name with missing letters and allow them to fill it in.

Activity Four:

Flower name activity

Write the letters of your child's name on little cards (that would make stems or petals) and allow your child to stick them correctly on their flowers.

Activity Five:

Write the letters of your child's name on little cards and paste them on the ground. Allow your child to jump on each letter and say the letter out aloud.

Activity Six:

Write the letters of your child's name on little cards and paste them on a page.

Activity Seven:

Allow your child to write his/her name using play dough.

Activity Eight:

Write each letter of your child's name on wooden pegs and on little cards. Allow your child to take each peg and peg it on the corresponding letter on each little card.
